Overview

Camden Market traders were hit particularly hard by the restrictions on international travel imposed during Covid lockdowns, with a high percentage of businesses relying heavily on tourist footfall. But this crisis presented a unique opportunity to showcase the improved food offering to a local and London-wide audience, via media platform Camdenist.

TheLococo partnered with Camden Market landlords Labtech to devise and manage a series of 4 midweek ‘secret feast’ food events, filling tables during the hard winter months of February and March while encouraging locals to try out a night in the Grade II listed North Yard, an area many had previously overlooked.

Strategy

We sold tickets in advance priced at £20, for a special menu at five participating restaurants. The sales were backed up by comprehensive content creation for all venues, paid social media activity and a wider paid and organic media campaign. 

The model was a hit with all our partners, and the Secret Feasts brand will now be rolled out in other areas.
